The Elders of Turalyon is a World of Warcraft guild on the Turalyon-US server, Alliance faction. Founded in March 2006, our guild is based on the promise that we are all like-minded adults that are interested in experiencing all that WoW has to offer.

Many in our guild have families and other real-life commitments that need to come first. Some have mere moments to commit to their time with us, others spend a great deal learning the intricacies of the game. Yet somehow all of these different types of players find themselves happily coexisting and helping one another whenever they can. In our guild, you get to define your own role, schedule, and level of involvement based on what you want to do.

Players new to the game will find a wonderful group of folks to help them in quests, dungeons, and other aspects of the game. We have many experienced players that are always willing to answer questions about character choices, specs, items, or play style. In The Elders, you can expect caring, helpful people to take an interest in your personal progression.

Experienced players have equal access to raiding that does not require mandatory participation, an active schedule that plans several raids a week (some regularly, others off-schedule), and a unique loot distribution method that does not penalize those who cannot attend raids often. The Elders will satisfy your need to cover new ground, challenge yourself individually, and get you into places you've always wanted to go without the added stress of making raiding your second job.

In many ways, our guild defies convention. We offer benefits to casual players as well as players that spend a lot of time in the game. Both are welcome, and both have found happiness in our social confines. We are a casual guild that raids, but neither "casual" nor "raiders" truly defines us. We are unique.

If you would like to learn more about our guild, please have a look around our website. When you are ready to apply for membership, please read our rules and then apply.

Awesome job guys, lets get this bastage on farm -

The Big Pink/Purple Loot Pinata!

The King is dead. Long Live the King!

After months of intermittent effort (darn that Real Life interfering) we did it. Congratulations to all the Elders, it's really been a group effort from the time we first stepped into Naxx, until the Lich King hit us with his nasty little surprise once we were clearly beating him.

Present for the first Elders kill of the Lich King: Espada, Tribian, Arturus, Celi, Windfaller, Vorissa, Kelleb, Kataklism, Taggartfly and Ariis.

Kingslayers, all.

Congratulations.

ICC: It's Official

The evening of Friday May 7th the Elders finished off the last of the bosses on our progression ID, and paid a little social call to the Lich King.

It has begun. The beginning of the end.

Icecrown Citadel: Knock Knock Knockin'

... on Arthas' door....

The last of the bosses between the Elders and the Lich King has fallen! Sindragosa put up quite a fight in defense of her master - phases 1 and 2 are deceptively straightforward, but phase 3 proved to be a tough nut to crack. I think she'll hold the record for most number of wipes at less than 10% for WotLK.

Thanks and congratulations to everyone on the progression team:
Ariis, Arturus, Blase, Celi, Dontee, Gohloem, Kataklism, Kelleb, Loudfiero, Reyknight, Taggartfly, Tribian, Vorissa, Windfaller
Even though not every one of us were able to be there for the kill, every single one of us contributed to the learning process.

Icecrown Citadel: 10/12

You read it here first! We had a busy weekend in ICC, adding two more bosses to our list of downed bosses on the way to the Lich King.
Three cheers for the crews that attended and all their hard work, but especially our fearless Raid Leader Tribian. His hard work formulating strategies for these two bosses we'd never encountered before last Friday translated into first kills of both by Sunday night.

Blood Queen Lana'thel: 4/16/10: Dontee, Celi, Ariis, Kelleb, Arturus, Vorissa, Kataklism, Gohloem, Reyknight, Tribian
