Karazhan Rules

KARAZHAN: THE RULES

1. When you sign up for a Karazhan run, please make sure you show up to a run you sign up for. You do not HAVE to sign up, but if you DO, please commit. If you cannot show up for the run, then please do the best you can to notify your particular raid officer before the run starts so that they don't waste time waiting for you to not show up at all. When you sign up and then don't show up, that leaves an empty slot. This means that instead of starting at 8:30, I have to spam guild chat to try and find someone while everyone that DID show up has to wait to start.

2. Whatever the raid starting time is, try to be there 15-30 minutes early. This means being totally ready with potions, consumables, repairs, hugs, lunch, drinks, dinner, breakfast, TV recording times, and anything else. If you are going to be late or if you are going to show up EXACTLY at the time of the start of the raid, then let someone know or specify in the signup topic so that you are not replaced.

3. Most runs go from 8:30-midnight. Some can go from 6:30 to 10:30. Usually, it's at least 3-4 hours. If you can only go until a certain hour, then specify when you sign up. That's OK. I would rather take someone that can only go until 11 PM rather than no one at all. Do NOT say "YA SHUR I'M ALL FOR THIS!" and then leave at 10:30 with no prior warning. Then the raid has to stop for a whole 30 minutes and 8 people have to stand there while I spam guild chat. Then, we have to run down to the entrance and summon them and stuff. I understand that sometimes things can come up, and they're no doubt always more important. That's fine if something suddenly happens.

4. You will never be forced to spec a certain way nor will you ever be forced to go. All I ask is that you do your very best when you show up.

5. Be open to possible suggestions on how to improve. We're all here to learn and have fun. Never, NEVER take a helpful suggestion as an insult, because that is never the intent. We're all more mature than that.

6. If you need any help or have questions about your class or how to improve, please ask someone! We have an amazing bunch of people, some of them just bursting to give out helpful information and assistance. There is no problem with asking someone else of your same class for help. If you feel that you're not doing well, there are always people willing to help you in any way they can.

7. The raid officers are your very best friends. We schedule runs, and then we lead them. If you ever have a question or an issue, please, PLEASE talk to them about it. I know I'd be more than willing to assist you with anything you might have an issue with. I will also make sure you remain totally anonymous if you wish it.
