First and foremost: If you haven't been to Karazhan, ZA is NOT for you, unless you have previous experience in a raid environment and have Kara equivalent gear(Arena Gear and/or Tailored gear or Heroic Epics) you need to step in Karazhan to get better gear and learn how to work well with nine other people. The same scheduling process that Karazhan uses will be implemented for ZA, so check your calendar if you are interested.
Now to the "dirty" stuff:
In order to be eligible to step your feet into ZA for an attempt I am asking that everyone have a minimum of 80% epic gear(not including rings/trinkets/librams etc.) lvl 70 epic gear and you shouldn't be wearing any green gear, with a little time and effort, green gear can be easily be replaced. I will NOT be checking everyones gear before hand, you are all adults, so I shouldn't have to inspect you like you are my children. However, almost everyone runs at least one kind of meter, so if you are seriously underperforming I will have to check your gear, if your gear is up to par, then you may have a problem with your spec or rotation of spells, at that point you should take it upon yourself to ask someone in the raid that's the same class as you or ask someone in the guild who may have more experience. Please take it upon yourself to seek assistance or I will have someone in the guild approach you to help you become more valuable to the raid and to yourself. Under no circumstances will I or anyone in this guild make you spec a specific way, but you should take it upon yourself to spec a PvE friendly build. Below is a list of most classes and specs that you should be aiming for in order to completely clear ZA( I lifted this from another guilds website), these stats are NOT mandatory, but only what you should be aiming for. I am only posting this as a general reference to help you aim in the right direction when getting gear upgrades/enchants/gems.
Warrior
Health: ~17000
Block/Parry/Dodge: ~100%
Paladin
Health: ~17000
Mana: ~5000+
Block/Parry/Dodge: ~100% combined
Spell damage: 200+
Druid
Health: ~19000
Dodge: ~40% (Too high?)
Note: In my experience, when Druids get hit, they get hit hard. That’s why I added the extra health buffer.
Healers
Note: The combined healing output of your healers should be approximately 5000. For example, you could have a Paladin with 1500, a Priest with 1800, and a Druid with 1500. But don’t go too far in the wrong direction. I strongly suggest bringing in 3 healers.
