Everyone who has guild chat on (and I'm assuming a large portion don't considering all the spam it can cause when I am online) knows that one of my favorite questions to ask guildies with several characters is what their experiences with the different combinations of classes and roles the game has to offer.

Recently, I respecced my Druid to become a healer and I must say I haven't been happier. For me, the excitement of being the backbone the entire group depends on for success is more than enough reward to fill the void left by big crits.

So what about you? What is your favorite role to fill in a group and why? Have you tried the various roles (CC, DPS, Heal, Tank) and what have you found you like or hate about them? Do you feel that understanding more than one role has become critical in learning how to play your main more effectively?
