Life as a New Recruit

Recruits are the newest members of The Elders of Turalyon.

As a Recruit, you have full access to the guild's facilities. The forums, guild chat, etc. are all at your disposal. However, there are a few considerations to be made.

  • Recruits do not have withdrawal access to the guild bank but are encouraged to build good standing in the guild by donating items.
  • Recruits in groups may be asked to abdicate need if an existing, longer-standing guild member also needs the item.
  • Recruits at the level cap may have one alt invited during the recruit period. However, lower level recruits must wait until being promoted to full Elder. At that time you may have all the alt invites you want.

The recruit period is considered a trial period while the 'fit' between the recruit and the Elders is determined. When a recruit has proven themselves to be worthy of promotion, they will be promoted to full Elder. Note that this time period may vary, but will generally be at least a month.

Traits we would look for in a good candidate for promotion would be things like positive attitude, willingness to work with others, contribution to the Guild as a whole and sending all your gold to Taggartfly. Basically it boils down to if we see you're making an effort and fitting in, then you're likely to be promoted.

Note that those with infrequent or off-hour log in times may take longer than others, as you will have had less of a chance to interact with the guild, but you will not otherwise be penalized for restrictions on when you can/will play.
