The Elders of Turalyon is a World of Warcraft guild on the Turalyon-US server, Alliance faction. Founded in March 2006, our guild is based on the promise that we are all like-minded adults that are interested in experiencing all that WoW has to offer.
Many in our guild have families and other real-life commitments that need to come first. Some have mere moments to commit to their time with us, others spend a great deal learning the intricacies of the game. Yet somehow all of these different types of players find themselves happily coexisting and helping one another whenever they can. In our guild, you get to define your own role, schedule, and level of involvement based on what you want to do.
Players new to the game will find a wonderful group of folks to help them in quests, dungeons, and other aspects of the game. We have many experienced players that are always willing to answer questions about character choices, specs, items, or play style. In The Elders, you can expect caring, helpful people to take an interest in your personal progression.
Experienced players have equal access to raiding that does not require mandatory participation, an active schedule that plans several raids a week (some regularly, others off-schedule), and a unique loot distribution method that does not penalize those who cannot attend raids often. The Elders will satisfy your need to cover new ground, challenge yourself individually, and get you into places you've always wanted to go without the added stress of making raiding your second job.
In many ways, our guild defies convention. We offer benefits to casual players as well as players that spend a lot of time in the game. Both are welcome, and both have found happiness in our social confines. We are a casual guild that raids, but neither "casual" nor "raiders" truly defines us. We are unique.

Hats off to Blizzard for creating this title just for us, and to everyone that visited all the elders in order to get the title this year.

Rotface has fallen! Much like his festering brother, Rotface has succumbed to the Elders' onslaught.
Congratulations to all those present: Vecchio, Maplelore, Ariis, Windfaller, Taggartfly, Arturus, Dontee, Galestrom, Tribian and Celi.
After the little visit with Rotface, the raid continued further to check up on Professor Putricide and Valithria Dreamwalker to put them on notice that they could be next at any time.

Oh the abominations mine eyes have seen!
But on Friday January 22nd a group of stalwart Elders removed the first of them: Festergut fell to our onslaught.
The team for this Elder first kill: Tribian, Dontee, Celi, Dranissa, Ariis, Shemo, Maplelore, Galestrom, Windfaller and Arturus

Icecrown Citadel III: Saurfang Extracted

Yup. You read it here first. On the evening of January 8th, The Elders opened wide the jaws of Icecrown Citadel and removed Deathbringer Saurfang. No longer will he impede our progress into the Upper Pinnacle of the Citadel.
It a fairly complex fight, and definitely challenging. Present for this Elder first kill: Tribian, Blase, Arturus, Charlynine, Celi, Vecchio, Kataklism(my alt), Maplelore, Kelleb, and Galestrom.
